Why Create Auto Advertising?

Auto advertising and mobile marketing campaigns in general are very beneficial to the companies that choose to employ these opportunities. When the idea first came about in the corporate sphere of things, it was a new and innovative concept. Many people were surprised that auto advertising could be such an effective and efficient means to spread information. Still, it is not corporate establishments that created the concept of auto advertising, despite the fact that they seem to get more credit as compared to the ordinary and every day individual. The truth is, auto advertising is not a new concept. It has been used in order to generate specific and desired results for a very long time. Using auto advertising on a more grand scale may be a new approach, but the creation of auto advertising has been evolving over time and in effect for quite some time now. Some people do not just realize the many ways in which auto advertising has already proved its worth and powerful presence when it comes to capitalism and public appeal.

Reasons that we are prepared for auto advertising to succeed include because it has already done so and because the method is able to influence more people that could have otherwise missed being exposed to the advertisement. How many people have seen signs on vehicles saying that they were for sale? Likely, many of us have been able to see this in progress. The individual is trying to use auto advertising in a very literal manner. Attempts to sell vehicles in this way are successful because of the amount of people that are exposed to the auto advertising method and because of the ability of the individual to see exactly and specifically what they are getting involved with as a result.

Since auto advertising was so successful, and it continues to be, in the private sphere, many people can easily make the connection as to how and why auto advertising is a good idea for many companies. Getting exposed to other motorists and passing cars is a great way for companies to stand out and be noticed. The degree to which a car is redesigned in order to come across with the proper auto advertising appeal that is desired by the company will vary, but no matter what it is very difficult, if not impossible, for one car to ignore another car. This could lead to an accident. As individuals driving need to be constantly aware of the other cars around them, auto advertising is clearly a great choice for a marketing campaign.

The "Fleur-de-Lis" Sudden Popularity

Online stores have started noticing a sudden emergence of popularity with any item featuring the "fleur-de-lis" symbols. This emblem which represents the flower of Lily as been around for centuries. It was used to show royalry & devotion to the crown. It has been used among all things to symbolize the french language origins of certain cultures.

In Canada all provinces speak english exempt one: the province of Quebec which is french. Quebec's flag features four fleur-de-lis emblems on it.

In New Orleans the fleur-de-lis is also displayed and the sudden popularity of the symbol resides there. Since hurricane Katrina, one of the deadliest hurricanes in the history of the United States, hit the shore in 2005 residents have joined together into this terrible tragedy. There were an estimated 1836 deaths in this category 5 hurricane and all survivors will carry this terrible moments with them for the rest of their lives.

Now, the city is being rebuilt & the citizens are proud of having emerged from this working all together. Strong bonds have been made & the people of that area want more than even to show off their origins. The fleur-de-lis is a beautiful symbol now very popular on clothing, home decorations & jewelry.

As a jeweler I have been asked for fleur-de-lis items last year & started to make a few items for my customers for Louisiana. More and more people are asking for new designs & the selection have grown from 3 designs to up to 56 different products! This is just to show how much this symbol's rising popularity have been! Born in QUebec, the fleur-de-lis have always been everywhere around me & I must admit it is nice working with it again & sharing this with so many others.

Silversmithing artist Blue Crockatt displays her handmade sterling silver jewelry exclusively at http://www.sterlingsilverart.com, for her fleur-de-lsi designs simply enter the word "fleur" in the search box. Fleur-de-lis rings for men & women, earrings, pendant, anklet, toe ring, bracelet, pins, and more!Jasenka Blog75959

The Investment That Always Gives You the Best Return

How would you like to find an investment that will consistently outperform every other investment you make? There is such an investment, but its not anything youd expect.

In fact, its not real estate. Its not the stock market. Its not options. Its not treasuries. And its not commodities.

The investment is giving to your church and other charities. If you dont believe this investment will always outperform every other investment you make, let me share a story from Dr. Joe Morecraft, a pastor friend of mine.

Joe was on the board of directors for a fairly large company. At the annual board meeting, one of the board members, an elderly man who had amassed a sizable fortune, made a stunning announcement. He told the board that he had far more money than he could ever use and no heirs to give it to, so he was going to give away his entire fortune over the next year.

The rest of the board was stunned!

Well, one year later, the board came together again. But this time, there was a noticeable buzz in the air. Everyone wanted to know if the man was able to give away all those millions of dollars.

When the man entered, the room fell silent. Then came the announcement. A very red-faced board member had to tell all those influential people that he had failed in his task. But what he said was even more stunning than his original announcement.

He told the board that through the course of the last year, he gave away millions upon millions of dollars. He established a pace that, he thought, would enable him to quickly get rid of everything he owned.

Then something happened that he didnt expect. He started making more money than he had ever made previously in his life. All of his investments were moving up faster than they ever had. The man had to tell the board that he was, in fact, far wealthier after that one year than he was when he made the original announcement. But what he said next was one of those lessons we all need to learn.

The last thing he said was, What I learned this year is that I cant out-give God. As hard as he tried, he couldnt get rid of his money faster than God was blessing him.

So if youre looking for a way to get the best return on your money, give it away. The return wont always be monetary. And there are times when you wont see the rewards this side of heaven. But the reward will always be far greater than the investment.

Blogging - Developing A Readership

You've finally created a blog and you've made your first post. Now how do you get people to actually read what you're blogging about?

Here are some tips on promoting your blog.

1) Quality Content - Interesting content will keep your readership returning. Update your blog regularly.

Googlebot, which is Google's web-crawling robot loves content. The more you update your blog, the more frequent the search engine spiders will return to it.

2) Take part in forums that are related to blogging. Ask other bloggers for their opinion on your blog and take their suggestions to heart.

Ask other bloggers for their opinion on your blog and take their suggestions to heart.

3) Publish an RSS/Atom/XML feed. If you're using Blogger, you can turn on RSS feed by clicking on settings in your dashboard and then clicking on site feed and make sure that your settings are set to yes.

4) Carefully choose your subject titles, taking into consideration what other internet users may be searching for.

Use keywords in your title. I suggest subscribing to Word Tracker. Their report of the most popular searches is published each Tuesday and distributed to over 30,000 subscribers.

Technorati.com , is a blog search engine that also lists the top search words. The more targeted your keywords are, the greater your return in search engines will be.

5) Involve yourself in commenting on other blogs. You can gain a loyal readership just by offering feedback to your fellow bloggers. The comment feature allows you to add a link back to your blog as well.

6) Be sure to include your blog address in forum signatures and in your email signature.

7) Submit your blog to directories.

Submit your blog's url to Technorati, Daypop, Blogdex and Popdex.

8) Write articles. Include a resource box in your article and submit it to article directories such as http://iSnare.com

9) If you're using blogging software such as Blogger, there is an option to notify the central blog update services (such as http://weblogs.com) whenever you've made a new entry to your blog. Make sure that this option is turned on! In blogger, click on publish in your dashboard and make sure that your settings are set to yes under notify weblogs. Alternatively, you can go to http://ping-o-matic.com and send out a ping each time you update your blog. This lets everyone know that you've just updated your blog.

10) Link to other blogs. Use services like blogrolling, which is similar to linking. Blogrolling allows you to maintain an updated list of your favorite blogs. But, don't build a long blog roll of sites that you have no intention of returning to. There is nothing more annoying then visiting a blog that has a humongous blogroll.

Be patient, traffic doesn't happen overnight. The best way that I've found to increase traffic is by getting to know people. Spend what free time that you have, reading blogs, leaving feedback and building friendships. Try to leave comments on the blogs that you visit as often as you can. While you are waiting for the traffic to come, just enjoy blogging. You'll be improving your writing in the process.

Eventually you'll build a network of not just readers, but friends and loyal supporters. Blogging is not just about marketing; it's about creating lasting relationships.

Silk Tie

Dress for Success:

Few clothing accessories denote style and luxury as Silk Ties can. Silk Ties add a special sheen to a man's suit offering both visual interest and personal expression. Other Materials may be used in the manufacturing of ties but silk has a built in cache of expense and glamour. Silk ties benefit from the richer dyes used by silk producers and the expertise of high end designers. Fashion experts often coordinate tailored suits with appropriate silk ties for effect.

Business fashion experts say the choice of tie can reflect the wearers personality or preferred image. Silk Ties offer very bold color schemes and pattern which imply power or security. These ties can also be coordinated with dress shirts to give the impression of organization and personal neatness.

Silk can be printed or woven. Woven silk tends to be thicker and you will often see a fabric weave running through it.

How to clean a Silk Tie:

1. Act immediately

2. Resist the temptation to expose a silk tie to water

3. Use a white paper towel to dab a small amount of stain remover onto the stain

4. Blot with the paper towel.

5. Have the tie professionally dry- cleaned if you havent gotten rid of the stain.

Care and Storage:

1. Treat your ties with a specialized fabric protection spray before wearing them.

2. Avoid tie- threatening situations such as open soup bowls, ketchup or mustard packets and babies.

3. Loosely roll ties to store them, rather than hanging them. Tie rolls should be loose to avoid wrinkling, hanging ties can leave creases.

Buying the Right Tie:

To begin with you first need a quality tie made up of 100% pure silk to accomplish that job. As a perfect person you are generally expected to wear a plain colored non- distracting tie with your suit e.g.: in dark red or dark blue color. A crooked tie projects a sloppy look and says the same about the skills and abilities. Therefore its important to focus on the tie knot as well.

Conclusion:

1. Buy a quality conservative 100% pure silk tie.

2. Practice how to tie the four in hand tie knot and make sure that the ties widest end is roughly at the upper edge of your belt.

3. Use a tie bar to attach your tie to your dress shirt.

Remember wearing a quality silk tie properly tied and fastened is probably the fastest way to improve the overall appearance and doubling your chances of leaving a favorable impression

How To Get The Best Credit Card?

Different people have different needs. Depending on who you are and your circumstances, the best credit card deal for you will vary. I will take you through the things you should be looking for, but for the best current deals I suggest you check Money Savings Expert regularly (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com).

Credit cards allow you to spend a certain amount of money at an interest rate that will be charged every month. The spending amount that is available to you can be seen differently. Some see it as an additional amount to spend, some see it as a risk-free' borrowing opportunity. Credit card spending is not a free' spending opportunity, as you will need to pay this money back. This money does not work like a loan, as the amount available to you is not all cash. However, it can be treated as a loan' and this concept will be explained later.

Other very important concepts that have to be understood before getting a credit card, is 0% offers. There are two kinds of 0% offers: on purchases and on balance transfers. The first one allows you to spend the money provided to you by the credit card without paying any interest for a certain amount of time. So, for example, if the credit card gives you a limit of 500 for three months, then you can spend 500 against this credit card and not be charged interest for the first three months since the credit card was opened. However, once this period of time expires, you will be charged the credit card interest rate. This interest differs depending on the credit card, so if you intend to pay this interest, then you ought to look for the lowest interest rate available. Paying interest can be avoided, unless you have already overspent too much and are using credit cards to pay off other credit card interest. In this case you should call some of the debt consolidation companies and try to get some your credit card debt written off. Another reason why you might be in the position of paying interest is because you forgot when your 0% free time' ended. If this is the case, you will be informed about this with your first bank statement. Transfer your balance to a different bank or pay the debt off and avoid any further interest payments.

For those of you who don't have interest payments, you can take advantage of the 0% purchasing and make some money. You need a good credit history record to make this work and you also need to be disciplined. The easiest method is to do all of your normal spending against the credit card, while putting the money that is coming in into an interest-earning savings account. For example, if your credit card company lets you borrow 2,000, and you have 1,000 coming in as a salary every month, then put the 1,000 into a savings account and do all of your purchasing with a credit card. There are a few things to watch out for: credit card companies will charge you for cash withdrawals; your cash limit is much lower then the full available credit; and choose a savings account from which you can withdraw easily. At the end of the 0% purchase period, you will need to return all the money that you have spent against your credit card. You should have that amount available in the savings account by then, plus interest. The interest gained is your earnings for this transaction. You can earn even more if you chose a credit card with a cashback deal. This deal will pay you interest on all of your purchases made with the card. However, you should remember, that this is a money-making technique, rather then a spend more' opportunity. There is a more complicated trick of making money from credit cards, details of which are outlined by Money Saving Expert (2006).

If you are making money from the credit cards, there is no need for you to get card protection insurance, as you should have enough money to pay off the credit card debt at any time. At the end of the 0% purchasing period, you can also transfer the balance to a different card provider. This is known as 0% balance transfer, but you will be charged a fee for these transactions, usually around 2%. However, these fees vary, so you need to check the conditions. There are a few things to watch out for: the credit limit offered by your bank also includes your purchases. For example, if the new credit card offers you a 2,000 limit, with 0% balance transfer for 12 months and 0% on purchases for three months, and you have transferred 1,500 from your old credit card, you only have 500 to spend on this credit card. The second thing to watch out for is your credit score. "Most lenders' scoring systems aren't sophisticated enough to detect that you're playing this free-cash game. Yet multiple applications, especially at the same time, coupled with high outstanding debts, even at 0%, will diminish your ability to get competitive credit, so the most important thing is to spread card applications out" (Money Savings Expert, 2006).

However, if you are in the position where you are already fighting the interest payments, as has been mentioned before, the best thing to do is to call debt consolidation experts. In any circumstances it is best to pay off the most expensive credit and store cards first (i.e the ones that charge the highest interest rates). Furthermore, avoid opening any new credit cards to pay off the debt. Instead transfer your high-interest debt to lower interest rate credit cards. For example, if your credit card interest rate is 16%, while your store card rate is 25% per month, transfer the store card balance over to the credit card.

Whatever your circumstances, when you do open a new credit card always look for the longest 0% balance transfer and 0% purchase period, lowest transfer fee and interest rate charged afterwards. The limit offered to you will not only depend on your salary and credit rating, but also on the company that you go with.

Finally, do not forget don't play the credit card game if you cannot control it or have a high debt already.

The Smart Way To Buy A Vehicle

Believe it or not, it is a skill to buy the right vehicle, at a good or better price than what a particular vehicle is sold for in the market.

Before you do anything else, apply for a bank loan to purchase a new vehicle, find out what is your maximum loan amount your bank or any lender is willing to lend you. Once you know how much your loan approval is, then you are ready to start looking for the car you want.

Decide on the vehicle you will truly be happy or at the least very satisfied with, so that the notes will not feel painful. This is very important.

Will your next vehicle be a truck, a car, a SUV? Whichever type of vehicle you prefer start comparing different makes and models and get a general idea of what they are worth in the market. One easy way to do this is by visiting the Kelly Blue Book online at: http://www.kbb.com. Here you can check what the MSRP value is (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price, is the price set by the manufacturer).

Once you have a check from your lender, that check will good as cash at the dealership. This will give you buying power. You will be able to get the best possible cash on a vehicle you really like.

As you shop around do not let car salesmen to intimidate you, remember, you have done your home work, you have research the market value for the car you want, you know a fair price down to the miles of it. Now you have a check in hand and can negotiate a cash deal. Make cash offers and see what reactions you get from salesman. Do not give any information to salesman.

Once you are down to a few dealers where you will buy your car from, go to each, or call each of them on the phone, work with the ones that have a decent sense of customer service and who are willing to work with you, and via telephone make a cash offer for one of the vehicle you are looking for. For instance, you have researched a vehicle that easily sells for $15K or $16K with less than 30K miles. Offer $12K cash and gauge each of their reactions and see what happens. Its not for nothing that Cash still the reigning king!

How To Buy An Acoustic Guitar

Knowing how to choose the right guitar and how to identify a bad one, will save you from countless headaches, not to mention finger aches.

Acoustic guitar bodies come in basically the same hourglass shape, with some variations, but they do vary in size, color, wood-type, style, and extra features. You can even buy an acoustic guitar so small that fits into a hiking backpack.

The most common type of guitar in use today is the folk-style of guitar. This is the guitar you will see played around most campfires and parties, and is the one found in most music groups, church choirs, and in the corner of most homes.

Guitars come in a very wide range of prices, but when it comes to instruments, in general, you get what you pay for, especially when you buy new. Theres a difference between getting a bargain and buying cheap.

But whether you buy new or used may be determined by many personal factors, and each has their own pros and cons.

Buying new, gives you a warranty and, hopefully, a return period, if for some reason youre not totally satisfied with your purchase, or something goes wrong.

Under normal circumstances, a used guitar can usually be purchased cheaper and has already gone through its break-in period.

Commercially built guitars are usually mass manufactured. Custom-made guitars are exactly that. They are custom built and tailored to your specifications by a highly skilled guitar maker.

Prices for a custom-built guitar vary considerably, depending on the skill level of the craftsperson you contract the job to, but, as a rule, they are generally quite higher than a commercially built guitar of similar quality. Each custom built guitar is unique and therefore hard to compare in price to a commercially built guitar.

FOR THE "TECHIES"

Understanding some of the parts of a guitar will definitely help you when it comes to the Pre-Purchase Checklist.

BODY: This is the part with the sound hole in the front. It is where the strumming is done, and it can vary in size. The actual size, shape, type of wood, coating, and general build of the body also affects how the guitar will sound, whether its a rich and warm sound, or a thin and twangy sound. The body tends to be the part that also gets scratched, damaged, and generally banged-up the most.

NECK: This is the long piece extending from the body and ends at the head of the guitar where the Tuning Heads are, also known as machine heads. The strings travel from the Bridge on the body, across the sound hole, along the Fret Board, which is attached to the front-side of the neck, and finally arriving at the tuning heads where they are wrapped around tuning posts. The tuning heads are then turned by hand, which then turns the posts, making the strings tighter or looser, thus affecting their tuning. Necks tend to warp and twist if not looked after, or if the guitar is left propped against a heat source.

BRIDGE: The Bridge is normally located on the front of the body, by the sound hole, and on the side of the hole opposite to the neck. The strings are usually fed through the bridge first before they cross the hole and travel up the neck to the tuning heads. The bridge is like an anchor-point for the strings. Metal bridges are best, but on most acoustics they are either hard plastic or wood. Bridges have a tendency to crack and split over a long period of time.

FRET BOARD: The fret board is glued to the front of the neck. This is the part you press the strings onto to make chords or play individual notes. Because its glued on separately, a fret board can be made of a wood thats different from the neck.

The strings travel over the fret board and the distance they are above the fret board makes a difference to the playability of the guitar. If the strings are too far above the fret board, then they will be hard to press down, making the guitar hard to play.

When a beginner plays a guitar, initially his or her fingertips are very soft and need to be hardened. A guitar with the strings too far above the fret board, also known as having a high action, will cause the players fingers to hurt so much that they are likely to put the guitar away in discouragement and possibly stop playing altogether.

STRINGS: Acoustic guitar strings, come in a wide variety of flavors. They can be made out of nylon, brass, steel, or a combination. Nylon strings are usually only found on Classical guitars and Student guitars, because theyre easier on the fingertips. They have a rich, warm sound to them.

Strings sets come in different weights, or sizes. Strings that come from a package marked Heavy are usually quite thick in size and sound beefy. Strings that are light, or extra light, are very thin and usually have a brighter sound to them, but are also quieter sounding than heavy strings.

String choices are purely personal taste. Light strings are easier to press than heavy strings but also sound quite different. The more often strings are played, the dirtier they get. If a cloth isnt run over and under them, from time to time, the sound becomes very dull

THE PRE-PURCHASE CHECKLIST

- Before you buy a used guitar, cost-compare against the price of a new one, unless the guitar is quite old. You could also compare its used price to other used prices by going to an online auction and either searching for the same or a similar guitar.
- Check the overall condition of the wood for cracks, scratches, splits, dents, chips, etc.
- Also check the lacquer finish for cracks and splits.
- Check the neck/fret board for warping and twisting. You can do this by holding the guitar flat on its back, with the sound hole facing upward. Bring the guitar up to eye-level, with the neck running away from you and the edge of the body almost touching your face. Let your eyesight skim across the front of the body and down the fret board. You should be able to see if the neck is twisted or bowing.
- Tune the guitar, or have the seller tune it for you.
- If you know how to play about five or six chords then play them. If you dont know how to play, ask the seller to play them for you. This check ensures that the neck of the guitar is not warped, even though you couldnt physically see it. If the neck is warped, and the guitar is properly tuned, then some of the chords will sound good, but others will sound as though the guitar is not tuned. If this happens, check the tuning again. If it persists, then dont buy the guitar.
- Check the bridge of the guitar. If its made out of wood or plastic, make sure its not cracked or splitting. The bridge needs to be rock-solid, as a lot of pressure is exerted on the bridge by the strings.
- Check the tuning heads. Do they turn easily, or are they very stiff and hard to turn. Even with the high tension of the strings, a quality guitar will have tuning heads that are fairly easy to turn.
- Check the action of the guitar. Are the strings a fair distance from the fret board? Are they easy or hard to press down at various points on the fret board?
- If you are buying the guitar for yourself, and you know how to play, even if youre a beginner, then play the guitar.
- How does it feel?
- Is it easy or hard to play?
- Can you fit your hand around the neck/fret board comfortably to play chords?
- Is the guitar a comfortable size and shape for your body? Is it easy to hold?
- If you plan to play standing up, ask for a guitar strap.
- Do you like the sound, the color, etc?
- If you dont play, have someone else play it for you so that you can judge what it sounds like.

WHERE TO BUY

Buying a guitar from a physical retail music store allows you to test drive the guitar and ask more questions up front. Buying online or from a catalog may bring you more cash savings.

No matter where you buy your guitar, if you know what to look for, and spend a little extra effort in your search for that perfect guitar, not only will your fingers thank you, but also your ears, and all those who will come to join you around the campfire, or even go to see you in concert. Who knows?

Happy playing.

Doing With Each Other

Are you feeling lonely today? If you are, you are not alone. In a study published in the American Sociological Review, researchers from Duke University share that Americans have one-third fewer close friends and confidants than just two decades ago. The study states that research done in 1985 showed that the average American had three people in which to confide matters that were important to them. By 2004 the same research showed that the number had dropped to two people in whom we felt we could confide. Most sad and disconcerting is that one-quarter of all Americans have no one with whom they feel they can share what matters to them most. Lynn Smith-Lovin, co-author of the study, said this kind of sociological shift in only two decades is rare. They are not sure what is causing the shirt, but possibilities include our steady migration to the suburbs, longer hours spent at work and the use of electronic games for recreation.

What we do see is the toll this lack of meaningful social connectedness takes on us. "Close relationships are a safety net," Ms. Smith-Lovin says. "Whether it's picking up a child or finding someone to help you out of the city in a hurricane, these are people we depend on." What happens when we don't have people to depend on? We no longer have our safety nets, which means there is more stress on individuals to do literally everything for themselves. No matter how superhuman any of us believes ourselves to be, none of us can be in two, three or four places at once. You cannot work a standard full-time job at forty-plus hours per week, manage a household and raise a family without help. If you are single and live alone, you find yourself in charge of all the decisions of life management by default, but believing you should never ask for or accept help can lead to a very limited world.

Either way of living presents challenges and opportunities, but both carry the burden of the American belief in the individual being able to go against all odds, work twenty-hour days and come out the other side saying it was all worth it. What we don't talk about is how socially isolating this belief system is, or what the cost is mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually, both in the short and long term. If we are unwilling to rely on other people to support us, we probably are also unwilling to help other people in need, assuming they can do for themselves too. The end result is a country full of overtired, stressed out, crazy-busy people.

Is crazy-busy the legacy we want to pass on to the next generation? Do we want to come to the conclusion of our lives and realize the only people we have connected with are computer technicians and customer service representatives from our credit card companies? Unraveling why we ended up here is more than a paragraph of analysis can hold. What we can do differently can be considered by looking at the life of Jesus for clues on how he handled the important balance of work and connecting personally with other people.

Jesus' life, the last three years of which were spent on the road in a demanding public ministry, was what we would term crazy-busy too. Up at dawn, traveling on foot from location to location, constantly surrounded by co-workers and new followers, rarely having a moment to himself, and always aware that Rome and the Chief Priests were looking for him to slip up so they could dispose of him before they lost control of the masses. He had no vacation to look forward to, no weekends off and not even breaks from the ever-growing populace who came to him for help. The balance is that he didn't have property to maintain, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping, bill paying or child-rearing tasks to perform. While Jesus' life on the road was strenuous, demanding and exhausting, he wasn't trying to "do it all" and keep a household running in his absence.

But while Jesus was on the road he relied on other people, the kindness of friends and strangers, to provide the everyday essentials of food and shelter, but also companionship and all its pleasant nuances. Paul would later refer to these pieces of relational connectedness in his letter to the Galatians. "The fruits of the Spirit are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)." Jesus spent time with Mary, Martha and Lazarus, siblings living outside of Jerusalem, in Bethany, whenever he came to town, especially during Passover celebrations. He relied on them for support, friendship and the basic necessities of life. Jesus gave a great deal of himself during his ministry, and as a friend, because he was willing to open himself to the reality that he wasn't doing it all, couldn't do it all and needed what other people had to share with him. Jesus clearly enjoyed the children who came with their parents to meet him. He also experienced the peace of private homes, away from the crowds for a few hours. Kindness, generosity and faithfulness were offered to him in simple, human interactions that made his life richer, and gave him strength to live his version of a crazy-busy life.

The first step to making connections with people is realizing that helping and supporting each other is a good thing. God intended us to live and work together, to enjoy each other's company. We don't have to live lives of isolation. We can allow ourselves to be known and be open to knowing each other in ways that will help us feel whole and united as a community lush with the fruits of the spirit.

Notebook Buying Tips

Why notebook became so popular? It has been estimated that notebook sales has increased an average of 20% per year in the United States alone. Among the many advantages it offers, portability is one of the main reason people end up making a purchase of it. However before any purchase is made, other features should be considered as well.

Notebook was first made available in the early eighties. Although much heavier and bulkier than today's notebooks, it had the unique portability feature that put this innovative product in a class by itself. Although not much of a commercial success then, it gave the computer industry a goal to pursue in manufacturing this item with better weight, size and performance ratio and making one of today's most wanted computer hardware.

Notebook size has got much smaller, however big enough to make one feel very comfortable in handling and operating computer related tasks. One can find it in sizes best categorized as: 1 - Tablet Pc has the size of paper tablet and weighs no more than 4 pounds; 2 - Ultra Portable is a little bigger than Tablet Pc and weighs around 4 pounds, no internal CD or DVD drive, display of 12 inches or smaller; 3 - Thin and Light is a mid-size notebook, 10-14" x 10", 1 to 1.5 thick, and weighs around 7 pounds, wireless network capability, 14-inch displays, combo CD-RW/DVD; 4 - Desktop replacement is the largest category of notebooks, more than 12 x 10" and weighs more than 7 pounds, 15-17 inches displays or larger, wireless network capability, combo CD-RW/DV.

Also an important feature one should look for is performance. Notebooks provide very close performance in comparison with traditional desktop computers, and should handle all computer related tasks with great ease. Whenever purchasing a notebook, make sure it has the latest cpu model, large ram memory and hard disk space. Notebook performance is directly related with cpu clock, ram memory and hard disk space. For these items, big is never enough.

Another feature one should look for is the dvd player. It can come in handy for entertainment purposes, enabling one to watch movies while traveling. Wireless connection is also a feature to look for in a notebook. Some notebooks feature an infrared port, which can be used to connect a mobile phone. Also there are other wireless technologies such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, which allows mobile phone, printers and PDA to be connected at certified public and private network. The ability to have a mobile connection is definitely a plus in today's connected world.

Expansion capability for notebooks can be done thru the use of plug-in pc cards. Although there is a new standard called ExpressCard, which is smaller and faster plug-in card that provides more features for multimedia tasks.

Notebooks have certainly become an item required for one's mobile computer related tasks, whether it is used for public, private, personal or professional purposes. Its portability and small size make an attractive all around computer hardware item. For those looking for mobile computer hardware, notebooks can certainly become a good solution at affordable prices.

The New Wine Label Phenomenon

It comes as no news to anyone that the American people love their animals. What did come as a surprise to me is that we also love animals on our wine labels. Yes, a study released earlier this year by ACNielsen confirms that wine labels with animal images are becoming increasingly popular in this country.

I felt compelled to do my own research on this topic so one evening I stopped by my local liquor store to check out the wine selection. Sure enough I was greeted with a veritable zoo of animals on labels. There were Dancing Bulls, Leaping Horses, Black Swans, Little Penguins, Kangaroos, even a hippopotamus courtesy of Fat Bastard Wines (which is French would you believe). This very informal research confirmed that there seems to be a much larger selection of wines with animal labels than ever before.

Critter Labels Rule

In the wine industry these animal labels are affectionately known as "critter labels", and the trend began back in 2001 with the introduction of the Yellow Tail brand of wines into this country from Australia. Pictured on the label is what looks like a kangaroo (but which is in fact supposed to be the yellow-footed rock wallaby). These wines had labels that looked striking, were priced very reasonably and they tasted great so they became a runaway success. So much so that they spawned an entire new "category" of wine.

The ACNielsen study has some hard data confirming the popularity of this new wine category. In the past three years there have been 438 new Table Wine brands that have been successfully introduced in the American market (those wines that sold more than $20,000 annually). Of these 438 new brands 77 of them featured an animal on their label, around 18 percent. Combined with existing "critter label" wines, sales reached $600 million in 2005 out of a total of just over $4 billion, based on ACNielsen sales data from supermarket point of sale purchases.

"Critter-labeled wines are on the rise, quickly gaining share in the table wine category," said Danny Brager, vice president of ACNielsen's Beverage Alcohol team. "The sales generated by new brands featuring a critter outperform other new table wines by more than two to one." That's right, taken across the board new critter-labeled wines have proven in the marketplace to be more popular.

"While placing a critter on a label doesn't guarantee success, it is important that wine makers realize that there is a segment of consumers who don't want to have to take wine too seriously," said Brager. "Not only are they willing to have fun with wine, they may just feel good' about an animal label presentation." With hundreds of new wine brands being introduced each year, wine makers realize that they need to stand out from the crowd if they are to make an impression. The easiest and most cost effective way to stand out is with an attention grabbing label on your bottle. The wine industry has also realized that there is an increasingly large segment of consumers who are attracted by fun labels. They want to buy a non-pretentious wine and they don't want to pay a fortune. These are the people who walk into a liquor store and supermarket and have no idea what they are going to buy they decide by looking at the labels.

Chasing the Yellow Tail

The Yellow Tail wine phenomenon is the perfect example of this. From Casella Wines, a small family-owned winery in New South Wales, Australia, Yellow Tail went from zero to the number one imported wine in the US in just two years. The first year the Casella brothers expected to sell 25,000 cases of wine here, they ended up selling 200,000 cases. That was back in 2001. In 2005 they sold 8 million cases of wine. Yellow Tail Shiraz is now the #1 selling red wine in America (not just imports but ALL red wine). In the crowded and highly competitive US wine market with over 6,500 wine brands, Yellow Tail has become the #1 wine brand, and it took just five years.

Now, I realize that Yellow Tail's success is not just because of their label. They have a great product that is reasonably priced the Shiraz is just $6.99 and they have a very loyal base of repeat customers. But could they have become #1 without their unique label? I don't think so. One of the biggest barriers they faced was getting people to try the wine in the first place. With what looks like a brightly colored kangaroo on the label on a black background, it is a visually striking label. It was able to break through the clutter at the retail store with this label.

Perhaps the biggest indication of the success of Yellow Tail is the number of copycats it has spawned. Penfolds, Australia's leading winery, was obviously disappointed in missing out on this opportunity, so they responded with the launch of the Little Penguin brand of wines. There is now a deluge of animal themed wines, so much so that ACNielsen is tracking their sales now. Despite all this new competition Yellow Tail remains the most successful wine brand in terms of total sales.

Labels are a Powerful Tool

While the wine business is somewhat unique there are lessons here that can be applied to any industry. One lesson is that with a high impact label you can make inroads even in a conservative and image conscious industry such as the wine industry. Your label should be working hard for your product. It should be informational, be a sales and marketing piece, carry any necessary regulatory information, and at the same time be eye catching. If you are selling your products at a retail store, then your label needs to perform well in all these areas for your product to compete with other more established brands.

Your label is your sales tool. The success of Yellow Tail wines demonstrates that in any competitive industry a good label can help bring success. Of course, it doesn't have to feature a critter, but a visually appealing and eye catching label will always help sales.

3 Simple Methods To Building A Profitable Opt In List

As more internet based businesses surface, the need to develop new marketing skills and knowledge based on this new medium have become somewhat of a challenge for the newbie.. More and more marketing strategies are being discovered and developed to cope with the changing face of the business world.

One of the strategies that all successful online business people agree upon is the opt-in list. Opt-in marketing requires the permission of a willing customer to subscribe to your marketing materials, materials that take form in newsletters, catalogs and promotional mailings via e-mail. The more opt-in marketing mail is sent, the more chances there is to bag sales and more sales. To do this, you must build a list of all those who wants to subscribe to your opt-in marketing list. This may sound easy enough but many new entrepreneurs find that they build their list and still nothing happens.

So what could have gone wrong? Why have others succeeded where you have failed? The most common mistake is that you dived straight in. You chose a topic that you thought would be quite popular and would earn you money. This is just not the case. Just because you wrote for people from your list doesnt mean they are going to buy instantly.

Here I will offer some advice. For those who have started an opt-in list and have failed, you can rejuvenate your failed venture. For those who are starting, here are three quick and easy ways to build a profitable opt-in list.

1) Put up a good web form in your site that immediately follows the end of your content. While some may say this is too soon to subscribe for a website visitors application, try to remember that your homepage should provide a quick good impression. If somehow a website visitor finds something that he or she doesnt like and turns them off, they may just forget about signing up.

A good web form for subscribing to an opt-in list is not hard to do. Just write a simple short statement about how they would like to see more and get updated about the site. Then there should be an area where they could put in their names and e-mail address. This web form will automatically save and send you the datas inputted. As more people sign in, your list will be growing.

Write as many articles as you can. Write about the topic you know and have started and used for your site. Try to join forums first to gain knowledge about your customers, about their wants and needs, and target those wants and needs. Join forums from other sites as well. Provide expert advices and recommendations. Put up a link to your site so that they may be able to see what you're business is all about.

The certain truth is, the money will only come in when the consumers and subscribers believe and trust in you. They want a product or service that could be a good exchange for their money.

2) Find a product or service that people want and need. Although it may not be your forte, if you provide a service and product that you have researched and learned about well, you can carry it on forward. Invest your time, effort and money that you could sell as well as the buyers or subscribers of your opt-in list can use.

While it is true that it is best to sell something that you have interest in, there are not many people who have the same interest as you if you decide to sell something that is not entirely popular or profitable. Do your research well and you would see the profits come in. Also provide your subscribers with promotional material that they could actually use and spread around.

Provide good service and products. A return customer is more likely to bring in more business. Even then and now, a satisfied customer will recommend a business always. Word of mouth and recommendations alone can rake in more business than an expensive ad. As your clientele roster grows so shall your list. With more members on the list, the more people will get to know about what you have new to offer.

3) Make friends with other opt-in list users. This is basically beneficial especially if it is someone who has already launched a successful opt-in list. Experienced opt-in list users will be able to tell you what to do and what not to do because they have gone through it. While different situations occur for different people, the general concept can still be very helpful. There are many things to avoid and these people will be able to tell you which ones. These are people that have the experience in this venture and experience is still the best teacher. While there are many articles available for you in the internet to use, there is nothing like getting a first hand account from someone you trust.

Never lose the trust your customers have entrusted you. If you provide e-mails to others and they get spammed, many will probably unsubscribe to you. Remember, a good reputation will drive in more traffic and subscribers as well as strengthen the loyalty of your customers.

Building a profitable opt-in list dont just happen overnight. There are many preparations and effort to do. Opt-in lists are built from scratch, as your list grows, you should also maintain the quality of your list. Keep it organized and manageable. Get or hire help if need be, just make sure that your subscribers are happy and satisfied and they will be willing to buy from you. These are the people who have liked what they have seen in your site and have decided they want to see more and maybe even purchase what ever product or service your company and site has to offer.

Goal-setting A Daily Affair!

We need to have Long term goals and short term goals.

Long term goals:

Be bold!
Just write down anything outragous!
Its ok, its GOAL anyway, right?

Remember, no invention begins without a BOLD Dream! We will not have computer, if someone dream of having a machine think as fast as us. We will not have car if on one ever though of having a machine to drive us around, we will probably still on horses.

Also, write down not one or tenbut, challenge and push yourself to write down 100 goals! Trust me! its not easy, but it is worth it! To date, i just managed to write 50 of them. Will complete it and rewritten it again every year! Its interesting to see and review yearly goals and notice the priority and importancy changed accordingly due to many factors.

Short term goals:

Be realistic
Achievable.
Something that can make us out of comfortable zone a little

Generally:

Write in present tense as if its already achieve.

Set a date realistically. Its ok to slipped a little, just adjust accordingly.

Be as clear as possible (used of words such as by or from or on)

Be as detail as possible (write down the color, shape, dimension, smell, sound, environmentetc)

Write in positive positive and not negative positive way. (eg, i want to replace smoking with exercise as compare to I want to stop smoking)

Use affirm word and not trying word. (eg, I MUST have as compare to I WISH to or I will TRY to

Set a plan.

Write it down EVERYDAY.

Yes, for short term goal, its important to write it down EVERYDAY! Not many goal setting resources will tell you to write EVERYDAY. YES! EVERYDAY! Why? so that our mind can be congruent to what we aim and shoot for. If possible, start a new day with writing down the goal FIRST THING! This will remind us and tell us each day, what ever we do, are we gearlng it towards our goal!

Remind that this is not those daily achieving goal where I will do this and that today. This is your short term goal which I will encourage everyone to write it everyday!

I started this last year for 3 months and then stopped due to whatever excuses I can find. But during that 3 months, amazingly, I managed to achieve 2 of my goals which i have replaced it this time.

I MUST write down everyday and persistent through. Will use this blog to remind myself!

BTW, you may ask, what if I miss the deadline? Well, reset, review and rewrite again! Hey, rocket scientist do not launch their rocket to moon with one single projectile. The actual path of rocket launch was correted consistently throughout the whole projectile! So...

You = Rocket
Goal = Moon
Deadline = consistently corrected throughout projectile

Thus, by writing down our goals daily, will help us to correct oand review our daily tasks if we are on the right track.

Debt Reduction

Are you up to your eyeballs in debt? Its not a prime position that you want to be in, and it has to be one of the first areas that you must work on in improving your personal life. Is your credit score horrible? Well read on and I will try and set you on the right path in improving this situation.

Rewind back 15 years, and my financial situation was bleak to say the least, I had a credit score that was barely middle 300s which is worse than no credit rating. I was 3 years delinquent on a student loan, and some credit card companies decided to give me some credit cards (suckers) and of course I was months delinquent on those also.

I would get calls all of the time asking me when I was going to pay, and my answer was, well I didnt answer, the phone that is. Could I have paid some? Yes, I just wasnt interested in paying, besides if I payed them, then I couldnt go partying, and that was way more important wasnt it? Selfish, irresponsible? You bet! But I never had anyone teach me about finances. In my opinion most parents are really dropping the ball when it comes to this subject, along with a lot of other life lessons, but thats a totally different subject. Our schools are not teaching basic finances, kids dont learn how to balance a checkbook, or about interest rates on credit cards, this is a vital life lesson that is not being taught and people are learning the hard way about this subject. Remember from my other articles that there is a easy path in life and there is a uphill path, and sadly to say the majority of society takes that uphill path.

Steps to take

The first thing we need to do is collect some data, take out a piece of paper, and write down everything that you have to pay on a monthly basis, (ie. Credit cards, utilities, rent, mortgage, car note, doctors) whatever it may be, then I want you to write down the interest rate that you are paying beside each item. (utilities and doctors usually will not have this). Put them in order from highest interest rate down to lowest, and this is the order that we will pay them off. Next I want you to write down in a journal every single cent that you spend over the period of one month, I know this is a pain but trust me it will be very helpful in locating money that is leaking from your budget, people will be surprised how much sodas add up to in a months time.

Developing our Game Plan

Ok now that we have the our data we need to develop a plan, we will start concentrating on the highest interest item first, you will still need to make all of your monthly Minimum payments as scheduled, if you were paying more than the minimum on some then stop doing that. Now we need to identify how much extra income we have available, take all of your bills on a monthly basis, adding up the minimum monthly payments, then take your monthly salary and subtract your monthly minimum payments from your monthly salary and this will give you your extra income. Now I know that emergencies happen and that sometimes you need a little put back just in case, and I fully understand this, but having said that if you are truly committed to getting yourself out of this situation, you will do what it takes to make it happen. Next in addition to the minimum monthly payment on your bill that has the highest interest rate, take the extra income that you have allocated or what you feel that you can use to getting out of debt and apply it in addition to the monthly minimum to the bill with the highest interest rate. Now I dont recommend putting it all on one check and sending it in, because sometimes certain creditors will take out the interest first out of the extra monies, so handle the situation like this: make a check out for the minimum, then write a separate check for the extra you are going to pay and in the notes of the check write, apply to the principal only. What this does is it pays down on the actual amount that you have borrowed and will not go towards the interest the company is charging, which will in turn cut down on the over all amount of interest that you will pay in the long run.

After you get that highest interest bill totally paid off then you will concentrate on the next bill on your list. Take the minimum that you were paying on the first bill you paid off plus the extra and this will be your new extra income total that you will apply on a separate check along with the minimum on the next bill that we will be concentrating on. Continue this strategy until you owe no one, now you will always have your utilities, they will never go away, but you will no longer be paying people for the privilege of them lending you money.

Example: Visa Bill Balance $200.00 monthly minimum $10.00 21% interest

Mastercard Balance $400.00 monthly minimum $15.00 18% interest

Auto Balance $5000 monthly minimum $300.00 9% interest

Extra income = 50.00

So our first month we will pay all of out monthly payments like usual but in addition to the $10.00 minimum on the Visa Bill since it is the highest interest bill we will write a separate check for the $50.00 extra income and send it in also applying it to the interest. And in a little over 3 months the Visa bill will be gone forever. Now we take our $10.00 that we were using to pay the monthly minimum on our Visa bill and add it to our extra income which will be $60.00 and make the monthly minimum of $15.00 on our Mastercard and on a separate check for $60.00 apply it to the principle on our Mastercard. In about 6 months our Mastercard bill will be gone then we will have an extra income amount of $75.00 to start knocking off that Auto bill.

Trying to make you sick

I just wanted to give you a little truth to the way our creditors have us by the short hairs, I hope it will make you sick and motivate you to do something about your situation. It pains me to see people struggling financially, and the credit companies preying on you like some sharks to a wounded fish, and totally taking advantage of the situation. You need to move back in control of your finances, and stop letting the creditors dictate how you will live.

If you have a balance on a credit card of $5,000 at say 18% interest with the payment being $100.00 a month it will take you 46 years to pay off and you will pay back in addition to the 5,000 you borrowed a whopping $13,926 dollars for a total of $18,926 dollars, just to borrow 5,000 dollars. Right now the national average balance for consumers who have debt is $9,300 dollars and the average interest rate is 13%, with a monthly minimum being $200.00. This loan will take you 33 years to pay off and you will pay an extra $11,450 dollars for a total of $20,750 dollars WOW.

So what are you waiting for? I hear it all the time, I cant afford to pay extra, well I am here to say you cannot NOT afford to pay extra, its your money, find the way, you can do it, have faith and use your positive thinking skills on how you can get out of this situation.

I wish you much success!!

Boost Your Spain Property Rental Profits with Viral Marketing

If you are pressed for time and tenants, you'll want to read this! Property rentals can be very lucrative if you know how to market to your potential guests. Whether it's an apartment for rent, villa rental for vacationers, or a golf holiday rental, you can boost profits with these simple marketing strategies.

Maximize Holiday Rental Promotions Online

Don't ignore the tremendous power of the Internet. Imagine spending a mere $5 to $15 per month to advertise your Spain property rental to folks around the world 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! That's exactly what you're doing when you start your own website that is focused on property rental.

For only a few dollars per month, you can have an entire website dedicated to promoting your apartment for rent or vacation villa rental. You can put as many photos and updates as you want. There are no limits because you will be the owner! You can even offer online specials and discounts to Internet users.

To make your website really popular with the search engines, include travel articles and city information about nearby areas. For example, if you own a rental property in Marbella, Spain you can write content about that area and include keywords about traveling to Marbella. The same goes for other Spain holiday hot spots including Costa del Sol, Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Mijas, Puerto Banus, and Elviria. Tourists will be searching online for a place to stay. Yours can be the one they choose!

Promote for Events and Recreation

If you have a vacation rental that's near a major tourist or sports attraction or where major events take place, then focus some of your marketing around the attraction or the event. For example, if your rental property is near a popular golf course in Spain where major tournaments are held, you can advertise in golf-focused magazines, golf-related stores, or golf web sites. This enables you to reach a targeted audience.

Don't Forget Past Guests

A guest who rented from you once may visit again. You will have all the mailing addresses or email of your guests, so send a mailing out occasionally inviting them to stay once more. Offer a "special" for past guests only. It's much easier to sell to those who already know you than to find new customers.

Include All Features and Benefits in your Promotions

When promoting your rental property, be sure to include all the features and benefits of staying at your rental property. You should list all the items or appliances that are included with their rental for convenience. The more you tell, the more you'll sell. Tourists want no surprises when it comes to a place to stay on their trip.

With these promotion techniques, you can reach a broader audience for your vacation rental property and watch your monthly profits grow!

The Top 5 Nude Beaches In The World

The very thought of heading for a nude beach gives many people the shakes. For others, its a natural occurrence and a natural consideration. If youre comfortable in your own skin, they argue, why not head out in just that skin?

There are a variety of things to consider when choosing a nude beach. Many experts say location is one factor as you probably want some measure of privacy (and most nude beaches offer this). Other factors to consider are the age range of people who visit the beach (youll likely want to be with a group around your own age) and other factors that really have to do more with your own comfort level.

If you are considering heading to a nude beach, why not head for the best? Heres a list of the top 5 nude beaches, as chosen by the Travel Channel.

1. Montalivet, France. This area is called the international birthplace of the naturalist movement. At this beach resort, you can camp (most popular) or stay in one of the 172 bungalows. This is a family resort, so if its in your comfort level to include the kids, you wont be the only ones. This resort features a wide variety of classes that range from soccer to yoga and everything includes the whole family. This gives new meaning to the term au natural!

2. Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Famous for its many beach resorts, this area of Jamaica also includes the Couples Resort, which is an excellent start for the new nudists. The resort itself it not a nudist resort, but theres a beach just offshore thats for nudists. Featuring a pristine beach, private cozy nooks all around and a cabana bar, this island is private and safe, making newbies feel comfortable in their newly exposed skin.

3. Wreck Island, British Columbia. This four-mile stretch of beach is so named because a huge wrecked sea vessel once inhabited the sand. At this friendly beach, you can enjoy the nesting area of the bald eagles, and know civilization is just a few steps away (the University of British Columbia is just a few hundred steps above the beach). One of the most lively parts of this beach is Vendors Row, where you can shop (in the nude) for souvenirs, handmade items and other goodies (including sunscreen, which youll need in abundance).

4. Samurai Beach, Australia. Located in Port Stephens, this beach backs up to the clothing-optional Bardots resort. At the beach, you can enjoy nude volleyball, Frisbee, and tug of war. This is the spot of the famous Nude Olympics, which are held each year. Events include Nude Surfing, Nude Beach Girl and Guy Competition and Nude Torch Relay.

5. Hedonism II, Jamaica. Yes, laid-back Jamaica can claim two of the top five nude beaches. At this clothing optional resort, expect a good party. Theres nude swimming, sunbathing and volleyball, as well as what the resort calls a lush garden of playful passion. Designed for playful couples and singles, the resort features a big party scene, lots of lush and delicious food and a nude good time all around.

Dine Al Fresco With The Perfect Picnic Goods

Summer is upon us again, and what better way of enjoying the sunny weather than by planning a family picnic? And while warmer weather is the perfect time to dine al fresco, there is also something lovely about having a picnic in the woods in autumn when the leaves are turning bright reds and orange. Indeed, providing you are well rugged up for cooler weather, you can almost picnic all year round.

Indeed there is no better way than enjoying the great outdoors than by packing a picnic and heading into the wilderness. And nothing makes for better family memories than by spreading out a blanket, setting out plates of delicious food, then simply sitting back and watching your children play in the fresh air.

Like most things, the best picnics are those that are well prepared and pre-organized. Having the right equipment can make this a whole lot easier. You need to think about the people you are taking on your picnic, as well as overall numbers. For instance, if there are going to be loads of children, you will obviously need to take practical, durable equipment that caters to their needs. If it is romantic picnic for two, you can be a bit more adventurous, taking champagne glasses and fine china.

Whatever the composition of your picnic party, be sure to take sufficient plates and cutlery for each member going on the picnic, as well as a few of extra settings just in case more people come. You will also need a large blanket, preferably one with a waterproofed base to prevent any dampness from the soil leaching into the blanket. Even if you are planning to eat at picnic tables, having a blanket is handy in case facilities are already occupied.

Other items which you may consider are canned fuel or charcoal for a barbecue; ice and ice containers to chill drinks and food in; paper plates for easy clean-ups; a thermal container for warm foods; table clothes; serviettes and garbage bags.

Before you leave on your picnic, you should also think about what activities you will be engaged in. You may wish to take sporting goods; beach balls; fishing rods and equipment; books and reading material. Finally be sure to take an umbrella, sun block, insect repellent and a simple first aid kit.

After all, the most memorable picnics are those that are well organized and carefully planned. In the great outdoors a simple change in weather, or a swarm of persistent mosquitoes, could ruin your day so be prepared for anything.

Credit Card Lingo

Knowing Whats Out There And What To Choose

The World of finance can be a tricky game for both the seasoned veteran and the novice borrower. Banks can by accident or design make even the most simple information seem complicated and through this unwittingly (or not) induce their customers to go for products that might not be best suited to their needs.

Credit, charge, ATM and debit cards are not all alike. Although you might think that they are basically the same thing a way of making payment for purchases or means of getting cash they are actually quite different. So as to use these cards wisely, you should know what each one is and how it differs from the others. Heres some information to help you choose wisely.

Credit Cards

Credit cards can be a great way of paying for a purchase. They are easy to apply for, easy to use, and flexible in their repayment options. However, if you carry a balance, credit cards can be like very expensive loans.

A credit card works like this: the credit card company supplies you with a card; you use that card to pay for items and services up to a certain total amount -- your credit limit. The store or service provider then collects what you owe from the card issuer, whom you repay. You're then allowed to pay off as much or almost as little as you like off the balance each month, so long as you pay a minimum amount each time (usually 2.5 per cent).

On the outstanding balance youre charged interest (which can be as high as 25% or more each year) at the end of each monthly period, unless you pay the full balance each time your bill arrives.

Credit cards are immensely profitable for issuers for a variety of reasons. The high rate of interest yields issuing banks and companies vast profits in some cases the bulk of an institutions earnings. In addition to the interest, many companies charge an annual membership fee for a credit card, as well as a plethora of other charges, including late fees, over-the-limit fees and other miscellaneous charges. Companies also profit by charging stores a fee each time a customer uses a credit card in their establishment.

There are three different types of credit card available:

Unsecured Credit Cards

These cards are commonly made available to those with good credit history and credit score. These cards require no bank deposit amounts to secure and usually have no annual fees and low rate of interest.

Higher Risk Credit Cards

These cards are usually given to people who have a lower paying job, and/or poor credit history and credit score. Often these cards charge an activation fee, and also usually charge an annual fee of up to $80.

Secured Credit Cards

These cards are given to people who have a lower paying job, and/or a very poor credit history and credit score. Often these cards require a deposit to be made to the lender, sometimes as much as near or equal to the amount of credit available on the card. If the borrower can prove their credit worthiness over time, that credit limit is then upped. These cards also attract a high annual fee of up to $100 and charge high rates of interest.

Charge Cards

Charge cards (also known as travel and entertainment cards) are slightly from credit cards. The most famous charge cards, such as American Express and Diners Club, have an unlimited credit limit. Normally you can charge as much as you like, but you are required to pay off your balance in full when your bill arrives.

Theres one exception to this: If you charge air fare, cruise fees or hotel charges booked through a travel agent on an American Express card, you have an option to pay off your balance over 36 months. Theres a sting in the tail, however: you'll be charged around 20 per cent interest and will have to make minimum monthly payments of $20.

The way charge card companies like American Express make their profits is by charging very high annual fees up to $100 and by hitting merchants with relatively high charges each time a customer pays using their card.

If you don't pay your charge card bill in full (unless the charges are travel expenses on an American Express card), you'll get a one-month period of grace, when no interest is charged. Beyond that, however, you'll be charged interest, which weighs in at about 18 per cent. After about three months, if your account is still not settled, your account will be closed and your bill sent to the collections department.

Cash Advances

Some people use their credit or charge cards to obtain cash advances. This can be an expensive way of accessing cash. Most banks charge a transaction fee that can be as much as 4% for taking a cash advance. Interest is also charged from the date the cash advance is posted, even if its paid back in full when your bill arrives. Moreover, the interest rate is usually higher on cash advances than on ordinary credit card charges.

ATM & Debit Cards

ATM and debit cards offer most of the same functions as credit and charge cards, but the crucial difference is that the money comes out of your bank account straight away. If you dont have the money, you cant buy the product.

For some people this is a preferable option: they like to keep track of their outgoings, to keep tabs on what theyve spent, to avoid any sort of debt no matter how brief.

There are disadvantages to using debit cards. It doesnt give you the option of up to a month to settle your statement. You also don't have the right to withhold payment with a debit card (the money is immediately removed from the account) in the event of a dispute with the merchant over the goods or services paid for. Some banks and merchants also charge transaction fees for the use of debit cards.

How To Find A Cheap Computer Game?

A cheap computer game does not always mean an old or boring game. If you have some patience and know where to look, you can find some newer releases on the cheap.

One way is to get on the mailing list of a computer game retailer. You will be sent game reviews, and notifications of new releases as well as coupons and special offers on purchases. When you visit the websites of computer game manufacturers and retailers, take a minute to sign up for their email mailing list. You may not be interested in some of it, especially since reviews are such a matter of personal opinion. However it might be worth it if they email you a coupon code or special deal on a new game.

If you dont want to put up with all that email cluttering your inbox then be sure to check out the Sunday ads. Thats when most retail stores advertise their sales and you may luck out and see a game you have wanted to buy go on sale.

You might be able to buy the computer game cheaper online. The important thing to remember about shopping online is to always comparison shop and factor in your shipping costs. Also, do a quick search for a coupon code for the store you are shopping. You may be able to get a discount or free shipping.

If you are just looking for cheap computer games and dont really care if it the latest game on the market then you might be just as happy buying previously released games. They are just as fun but are less expensive. This is true especially of sports games that have a new version released each year.

Some of the older games have gone on to be come classics. You can usually save money by ordering these online also.

Eventually after the hype of a new game has passed, the price will fall. The games are still great, but everyone is already looking for the next new game. That in a nutshell explains why it is possible you can buy some great cheap computer games if you just want to wait until they have been on the market awhile.

Joint Ventures Your Unlimited Opportunity

"He who has a thing to sell, and whispers it into a well, is not as apt to make a dollar, than he who climbs a tree and hollers."

This information is based on my experience over many years of doing business successfully in Africa, Canada and the United Sates, using the leverage of Joint Ventures, incorporating the Mastermind, Strategic Alliances and Barter to do business and create value and wealth with no money and no risk. Tried and tested, proven in the field with thousands of business owners, these principles work on one condition: You can only succeed in Joint Ventures with people who are honest, professional, smart and disciplined. Once you have found people like that, JVs can open the doors to unlimited wealth and success for you.

Joint Ventures work when people realize that we dont have to own skills, money, employees, inventory or other resources in order to do business, create value and make money. And it can be done VERY FAST if we use existing resources.

Your business can skyrocket to new levels of performance and profitability using Joint Ventures. The purpose of Joint Ventures is to access new markets, grow your business and access new competencies, while leveraging your hidden assets and business partnering to optimize sales and profits. Don't create competencies; borrow them. Don't compete; partner. Two companies essentially spawn a new company. One plus one equals three through synergistic and exponential growth. Joint Ventures inject new energy, excitement, commitment, loyalty, purpose, optimism, enthusiasm, creativity and fun into businesses. This increases value and thus profits. From Proctor and Gamble, Wal-Mart and Pfizer, to Sony, Tom's Corner Cafe and Bert's Dog Grooming, business owners are discovering the magic of Joint Ventures. In fact, you don't even need a business, a product or a service to make money from Joint Ventures.

If I was to add Bobs dog grooming services to Alans Animal Hospital and everyone (me, included) got a piece of the action, I could literally start earning money immediately. The distribution channel is already in place. The overhead is already paid for. This is incremental business with the corresponding high profit margin. All Alan has to do is offer each of his clients the option to use Bobs dog grooming services. He could hand them a discount voucher or merely a flyer. That is additional business for Bob, with no cost of sales (acquisition cost) at all. Bob has already paid salaries, rent and other overhead, so its found money for him. He pays you and Alan a commission on all the business thus generated. Everyone wins. This money is 100% profit in Alans hands. And at no risk, because you set it all up.

Joint Ventures can be very simple or more involved, but they usually cost very little to set in place, because most of the infrastructure already exists. If I sell landscaping, I can piggy-back my service on a realtors services. Or I can TRIANGULATE that deal I dont have to own the landscaping service or be a realtor to make money from that JV.

Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe and enthusiastically act upon, must inevitably come to pass Paul. J. Meyer.

Napoleon Hill educated millions on the power of the Mastermind. He said: The Master Mind may be defined as: Coordination of knowledge and effort, in a spirit of harmony, between two or more people, for the attainment of a definite purpose. No individual may have great power without availing himself of the Master Mind."

We do not conquer mountains, nor tame elements. The true conquest lies in penetrating the mental barriers; those self-imposed limitations that we carry in our minds. -Sharon Wood (First North American woman to the summit of Mt. Everest)

Together, we can do amazing things.

Tap into other peoples goodwill, database, capital, time, distribution channels, sales efforts, everything. Upsell existing customers on a new, additional product or service. The skys the limit.

Do you have or control anything that other JV partners would want?

The KEY is finding Good, Honest, Smart people. Start with people you know and trust: NEER: Naturally Existing Economic Relationships.

Talk in the other persons interests, not your own:

When we understand that people are basically self-interested and that they dont care about what you want, but rather about what they want, we should change our approach. Instead of thrusting your business card at someone and telling them how great you are and begging for their money, smart operators think about what THEY want.

Imagine your response if someone was to approach you with the following pitch:

What can I do to help you achieve your goals? How can I use my resources and the resources and hidden assets of my network of associates, friends, family, customers and vendors, to help you? How can I utilize my distribution channels, relationships, underutilized assets, salespeople, personnel and equipment, to generate more business for you? Im sure very few people, if any, have approached you in that way, right?

By the same token, you could approach someone with this offer: If I bring you access to markets, prospects, buyers, customers, advertising, that you never had and I turnkey it all, can I have 50% of the profit?

Youre offering Found money incremental profits and no upfront costs or risk.

If you want to open the door to JVs with successful people, you have to differentiate your approach. Theyre being hit on multiple times every day, but few if any are using this approach. Do your homework; study their websites, Google them, do your research and due diligence and be well prepared for your meeting. Forget about what you want and concentrate on looking for ways to benefit them. You will definitely get their attention. Thats why my website is called, DollarMakers.com

Lets look at some FREE options for promoting and selling services and products:

13. Offer Free Seminars either you do them or have someone else present them.

14. Sell Bills CDs on consignment through Jacks gas stations.

15. Free Conference Calls are very powerful selling tools. Interview experts and they will help you sell. You dont need any skills or money use other peoples skills time, energy and money. Bundle your products with someone elses every time they sell a course, they can include your CDs!

Always ask yourself, What does the other party REALLY, REALLY want? What is his or her HOT BUTTON? And always ask them, What will it take?

Simple Examples:

1. I gave a restaurant owner 400 free paper placemats, each including some nice graphics and interesting information, PLUS a pitch for my business broking services and my contact information. I also gave him a gumball machine full of gum, with an advertisement for my business services right on top of it. He will get paid a generous commission on any resulting sales.

2. With my friend, Antonio, we created an amazing marketing package for small businesses including 11 CDs, a powerful marketing program worth $900, plus six months of conference calls and a two day convention in Vegas, all of which sells for just $695.

3. Im not a realtor, but I recently earned a few thousand dollars on a simple referral to realtor. I do the same with websites, cars, you name it. I dont need an office or employees and I can work form anywhere in the world where I have access to a telephone and the internet.

I have been arranging JV deals since I was at high school. I was seldom at risk and my business has been thriving for 18 years because of this simple, yet highly effective mindset.

If you qualify, I can show you how to create a joint venture with me, using your existing resources, in one hour. Its easy to do and it works well, with virtually no cost or risk. Its a true Win/win deal.

BARTER is a form of Joint Venture.

Leverage and barter underutilized goods, resources, services, capacity, raw materials, storage space, a sales team, personnel, intangible assets like distribution capabilities, etc.

In the 1970s, Chrysler had 10,000 small cars they couldnt sell. They exchanged those cars for radio & TV credits all over the country, to be used over a five year period, and traded the cars at full retail. (Window sticker) Their money was tied up in the cars. They werent spending cash on the advertising. The radio stations were selling unsold, future time and getting the cars right away.

Chrysler took the advertising credits to the bank and got money on them to pay for the manufacture of more cars that were sold with the advertising, so the bank financed the whole program! The radio and TV credits appreciated in value over the five years! Thats leverage.

Restaurants a $10 meal costs around $3. The restaurant can barter that for $10 meal for $10 worth of radio advertising or whatever, so theyre saving 70%! Plus there are incremental sales people buy drinks, tip waiters, new customers are generated that continue to spend money. The gift certificates are called SCRIP in the Barter business. The advertising they bought brings in more customers. A lot of the meal vouchers are never cashed in this is called BREAKAGE. Remember, the overhead is already covered electricity, server salaries, uniforms, telephone, etc., is already paid for, so the profit is high.

A commercial printing business has staff and machines on hand but not is fully utilized. His only cost is the paper and ink. The rent and payroll is already paid. So he can produce printing very cheaply and trade it for things he needs now, without using cash.

Soft dollars and hard dollars: Trade TV sets that cost $300 at $1,000 retail, for hotel rooms that cost $7 and retail at $100. Both win. Soft Dollars are Barter Dollars and Hard Dollars is cash. Conserve your cash by setting up barter deals.

HOTEL EXAMPLE trade room for $100, cost is only $7.

If the average person spends $50 in other services that the hotel has, and your cost is only $7, youve made extra cash right away, plus many gift certificates never got utilized! AND you got 100% retail value in barter! And you can sell bartered goods and services for CASH.

A Beverley Hills hotel was bought out of Chapter 11 and immediately issued $3 million worth of rooms, food and drink credits to be used over a five year period. Scrip brokers bought it up for $1.5 million in cash. They cash converted future rooms.

Cash converting means trading for goods or services and then immediately selling those goods / services for cash.

Advertisers of a Shopping Mall set up a deal to pay people back the money they spent in the mall. Prove you spent $1000 in the mall and well give you $1,000 in cash! This creates what we call THE FLOW its ongoing, resulting business from barter. Store owners in the mall happily paid for advertising because they knew that, this way, it was much cheaper they only paid for the cost of goods sold (They reimbursed the retail price) so this was cheap advertising it forced people to buy in the mall.

Dentists and doctors, chiropractors and consultants, couriers, web masters, writers and such trade or barter services. I know a dentist who traded dental work for radio advertising.

Instead of using cash and time, spend more time thinking about value and JVs!

You can exchange apartments for services and pay your employees and vendors with barter and apartments,

Barter SCRIP is like printing money. It can be transferred and assigned - its legal tender.

Scrip Expiration dates the further out, the better there are many permutations. BREAKAGE is the barter credits which arent used up to 40%!

SET up a barter deal and take a piece of the action/ savings in cash or in scrip that you can convert to cash.

Remember: The key to successful JVs is the people who are involved. Integrity, Professionalism, Punctuality, Accountability and Passion and Generosity are essential ingredients. JVs is the way business is being done by smart people. Join us and take advantage of this wonderful tool.
